John T. Rose, 95, of Yarmouthport, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2011. John is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Helen (Malone) Rose, and his children , Suzanne and Brian . He is also survived by his six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 14 from 4-7 PM at the Morris, O'Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 15 at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA. Interment will follow at Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouthport. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to CCHA Barnstable Breast Care Pledge, 27 Park St. Hyannis, MA 02601.
