His death was registered on 8 July 1960, by Mary Andrews, wife, of 36 Parliament Street

Born in Notting Hill in London in 1883, he was a veteran of the Boer War and First World War.
He arrived in Ireland with his original regiment, the 2nd Wiltshires, in 1908 and settled in Dublin after his discharge in 1911.
He was captured at the Battle of Kosturino in Serbia, on 20th November 1915 and remained a POW for the rest of the war.
His headstone has some errors on it; his middle name is mispelled, it should read Frederick, he died on 5th July not the 3rd and served in the 5th Battalion of the Connaught Rangers not the 2nd.
