Clifford Keith Seaman was born February 19, 1927, in Rockford, ILL, and passed away December 26, 2002, in Bakersfield. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for 40 years, and his last position was as trainmaster. He served in WWII as a Navy Seaman and was awarded the Victory Medal.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Sallie Seaman, and brother, James Seaman. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lois Ruth Seaman; brother, Everett Seaman, wife, Betty and their children; nieces, Sandra Martin and husband, Richard, Rhonda Monson and spouse Lee, and Debra Berry; sisters-in-law, Faye Berry, Erma Buehring and Dorothy Seaman; also by numerous other nephews and nieces.

Clifford was a deacon at Niles Street Southern Baptist Church. His favorite hobby and pastime was playing golf with friends.

Chapel services will be Tuesday, December 31, at 12:30 p.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ray Grissom. Visitation will be Monday 1 to 5 p.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary. Services will conclude in the chapel.

The family would like to thank Drs. Bhogal and Laughlin and the staff of CC3 at Memorial Hospital.
