Starling L. Thurman, 70, of Los Angeles, Calif., died yesterday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. W. Rike of 1826 Merrimac, whom he was visiting.
Thurman was a semi-retired advertising salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen; one son, Starling L., Jr., of Los Angeles, Calif., his daughter, and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at Dunne Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Phillip L.Wahlberg of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.
