ST. MARYS - Oliver E. Doty, 73 former St. Marys resident, died at 4:05 a.m. Sunday in the Colonial Rest home at Rockford after an illness of four years.
His wife, Emma, died a few years ago. He is survived by their two sons and six daughters: William, Dayton; Raymond E., Troy; Mrs. Lee Evans, Mrs. Lawson Heffner, Mrs. Virgil Dunn and Mrs. Russell Barbee, all of Piqua; Mrs. Joe Riba, Denver; and Mrs. Floyd Cotner, Dayton; 16 grandchildren and a great grandchild; a brother, William, Sidney; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Degginger, Wapakoneta.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Yoder and Son funeral home. The Rev. Paul D. Strouse will conduct the services and burial will be in Elmgrove cemetery.
