MYRTLE BEACH | Roy Wayne Agee, age 52, of Hwy 707, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005 at his residence following an illness.

Mr. Agee was born Nov. 6, 1952 in Roanoke, Va., a son of Katherine Wertz Agee and the late William Nathan Agee. He was an educator for over 30 years and was a church organist and choir director for numerous churches. He was a member of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church and New Life Lutheran Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Roanoke, Va. are his loving wife, Hydee Finch-Agee; two daughters, Alexandra Finch Agee and Aurora Finch Agee both of Myrtle Beach; three brothers, Larry Agee of Richmond, Va., Michael Agee and Kevin Agee, both of Roanoke, Va.; several nieces and nephews; and many children and students who had enriched his life in many ways.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2005 at Christ The Servant Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
