Memorial services for Mr. Jackson Franklin Adkins will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, in New Hope Baptist Church, Calcasieu, with Reverend Rob McLane officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Melder under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Adkins, 84, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 21, 2020 in his residence.
Jack was a United States Airforce Veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a good Christian man and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved working in his yard and cutting his grass.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Essie Mae Langley; six brothers; four sisters.
Friends may call at New Hope Baptist Church, Calcasieu, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
