Mrs. Katherine L. Shores, 39 of 113 Hazel St., died in Elyria Memorial Hospital yesterday morning following an illness of one month.
Mrs. Shores was born in Oberlin, Dec. 5, 1928, and had made her home in Elyria the past 18 years. She was a member of the Glorious Apostolic Church.
Surviving are her husband, John E.; two sons, Pvt John Glover, Jr. serving with the Air Force in Colorado, and Gary Shores, at home; one daughter, Doris, at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvell Beard, Elyria, one brother, Melvin Caldwell, Detroit, Mich; five sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Coston, Lorain, Mrs. Doris Thomas, Mrs. Marvell Yancy, and Misses Sadie and Shirley Beard, all of Elyria.Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Glorious Apostolic Church with Elder James Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
Friends will be received in the Sudro Curtis Funeral Home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
