~ J.D. Collins was the second-born son of the Rev. Ray & Susan Ella Collins and one of 11 children. A long time evangelist and pastor in the Church of God in North Carolina, he was an in-depth studier of the Bible, with over 10,000 hours of studying just the prophecies alone! On that note, interestingly he was 66 years old when he left Earth for Heaven, the same number of books that are in the Bible. He loved to help people get a better understanding of God's Word and how it applies to our time. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne, before he was redeemed of God and became an evangelist. He and his wife Frances raised 4 children and he had 8 grandchildren at the time of his passing. ~
