Mr. Barker was retired from Southern Steel & Wire and a resident of Van Buren and he was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Mae Barker, and his parents, Alfred & Dorrie Honea Barker, Three sons, Billy, Samuel & Jackie Barker & one Granddaughter, Barbie Barker.
He is survived by his wife Mary Friday of the home

Three sons, Troy Barker of Van Buren, Bobby & Ronnie Barker both of Fort Smith, Three sisters, Lottie Fox of Van Buren, Betty Weaver of Texas, Pauline Dorrough of Van Buren and one brother Charles Barker of Van Buren. Fifteen Grandchildren, Twenty nine Great Grandchildren and four Great Great Grandchildren.
