Button, Clara
Madison - Mrs. Clara Button, age 82, of 305 East Dean Avenue, died on Wednesday, May 2, 1979, at a local hospital. She was born on August 5, 1896, in Union, Wl. She was the former Clara Patzer. Mrs. Button was a member of the Glendale Baptist Church, The Order of the Eastern Star, and a past matron, also a member of Oscar Mayer retirees. Survivors include a son, Forrest, of Hudson, Wl; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Rice, of Milton, and Mrs. Elaine Zweifel, of Janesville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eleanor Boese, of Rockford, Illinois, Ann Huebner, of Waupaca, and Emma Anderson, of San Bernadino, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray in December 26, 1976. Funeral services will be held at the Glendale Baptist Church, 5020 Maher Ave. at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 5. The Reverend Jerome Schenk and Reverend Donald Nelson will officiate. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 4, at the Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Dr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glendale Baptist Church.
