Two years later, while working in the office of Douglas Aircraft, she met Marine Corps pilot Erie Warren at a dance at the Hollywood Palladium. Lunch the next day turned into several dates and three months from the day they met, they were married. After many moves during World War II and the Korean War, the Warrens settled first in Flint, then Grand Blanc.
