Betty lived a full life, and like a celebrity star, or a wild horse she made quick decisions in the directions her life would take. Was "live like there is no tomorrow her motto"? I cannot say, but if she would have left a diary I'm sure the chapters would be full of one adventure after another. It is presumed she graduated from Catholic High School, but records cannot be found. She was found working at the Olmstead or at then named Middletown Airport, and when WWII started she volunteered for the woman's auxilliary, and there met her first husband Otto Jones. This story has many gaps, as she married 3 times and living in various cities in Virginia. She planted her garden as granma would say, but before the crops came in she moved on to a new place and a new husband. She was a beautiful and gregarious woman. Lived free, loved free, and enjoyed life to it's fullest.
Please consider most of the above life story as prose written by her nephew who was fortunate enough to have met her only a few times. Her smile almost did not fit on her face, and she would have one laughing with just a few words in her quickly gained southern accent.
