Charlie Mae Leathers, 87, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at The Meadows. She was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Itawamba County to Charlie William and Tressie Morris Moore. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton. She worked at Lee-Ann Ladies and Children’s Shop for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Horton officiating.

Survivors include one son, Ricky Leathers (Joni) of Fulton; two grandsons, David Leathers and Brandon Leathers; three great-grandchildren, Presley Leathers, Abbie Leathers and Maddie Guth; three sisters, Verlene Leathers (Leburn) of Tupelo, and Jess Faye Stafford (Gerald) and Thelma Nevins, both of Tupelo; and a special friend and co-worker, Margueritta Critz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Drewy Leathers, and a sister, Uneta Henderson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Horton, Tim Horton, Craig Horton, Don Leathers, Bill Henderson and Larry Henderson.
