LaVerne left to join her very missed and much loved soul mate, Jack, on March 22, 2013. She was 84. She was born May 11, 1928 to Walter R. and Gladys Shore Kinberg, in York, Nebraska. She married Donald Larson in 1947, they were later divorced. She married Jack Parkinson in 1977 and spent the best 18 years of her life with him. He died in 1994. She worked as a bookkeeper and retired from the Intermountain Allergy Clinic in 1989. She and Jack had a summer home in Manila and spent many wonderful years fishing in Flaming Gorge and exploring the countryside.
