Mr. Handley, who was born in Darrtown, lived for about 70 years in College Corner, making his home during the last few years with his sister, Mrs. Mary Birdgeford. He came from a family noted for longevity, his grandmother living to be 99 and his great-grandmother 101. His sister age 87, is not with a daughter in Richmond. Recently Mr. Handley was noted in the news as having attended the first Butler County Fair, held in 1851.
Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Miller Funeral Home in College Corner. Burial will be at the College Corner Cemetery in West College Corner, Indiana.
