Lillian Banks was born in 1894 in Izard County, Arkansas, to James A Reaves & Ella Mae (Shaver) Reaves. They moved their family to Texas, around Deer Creek, in Clay County.

Lillian married James Richard Banks on June 19, 1910, and they had one son Vernon. When Rich died she married his brother Raymond Lee Banks on November 08, 1920. They lived the first few years in Los Angeles, CA, then returned to Haskell, TX in 1927.

3) Edna Mae (Banks) Grubbs
4) Virginia Lee (Banks) Daniels (twin)
5) James Author Banks (twin to Virginia, died at age 6-months & is buried in Tempe, Arizona on a ranch.)
6) Melba Jean (Banks) Voyles Horton Mower

Mrs Banks, is warmly remembered as a lady that was strong in her Christian faith and lived her life every single day with this assurance. She was a longtime member of East Side Baptist Church in Haskell. TX.
Her service was held Tuesday, March 10 at 2:30 pm, at ESBC with Rev L D Regeon & Rev W T Priddy officiating.

Pallbearers were:
John Wisdom, Cecil Bowers, Bill Marr, Harry Howard, Chester Hodgins, A L Blair, Austin New & J B Kuenstler.
