He filed for an invalid pension 24 Nov 1902 from New Hampshire, his wife, Ella A Wilder filed for her widow's pension 23 Nov 1916 from New Hampshire, both filings were using his birth name, but with the alias listed. I think he used to be Ervin Evander Hancock and he changed his name to George Edwin Wilder and it appears when he came out of the Civil War and bef his first marriage 24 Mar 1866 to Caroline O Barrett at Thetford, VT. They div 13 Oct 1877 at New Hampshire; she kept her married name, but is buried with her maiden name.
