JAMES WILSON FULPS
James Wilson Fulps, 81, of Springfield, died Monday August 6, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Robertson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Fulps was born Dec. 13, 1925, in Robertson County to the late Bill and Ethel Caine Fulps.
He was a retired press operator at Unarco and also worked many years for McClanahan Lumber Company.
Mr. Fulps was a Baptist and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served in World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Ruth Braswell Fulps and by his great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Boles.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Carolene and Robert Goostree of Springfield; sister, Elizabeth Dickens of Evansville, Ind.; niece, Josie Wilson of Coopertown; grandchildren, Robert W. Goostree, Pamela Mitchell, and Amanda (Eric) Boles; and great-grandchildren, Lenea Boles, Gavin Boles, and Ashlynn Goostree
Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
