Mildred B. Porta - June 3, 1905 - Dec 27, 1996
Mildred B. Porta, 91, of Boca Raton, FL, died Dec. 27. She was born in South Bend, IN, to Edgar C. Martindale and Minnie Wolter. She was a former resident of Scottsdale, AZ, prior to coming to Florida in 1988. Mrs. Porta was the widow of the late A. J. Porta, who died in 1967. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John E. and Cynthia T. Porta of Vero Beach, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Tom Kolacny of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marcelle Newman of South Bend, and Norene Taylor of La Farge, WI.
Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Monday, Jan 6, at Crest Manor Church of the Brethem, 1342 Berkshire Drive, South Bend. A private interment will be at the Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crest Manor Church of the Brethem. Arrangements were handled by Kraeer Funeral Home, Boca Raton, FL 561-395-1800
