They first settled in Roxbury, Dane County, Wisconsin
Margaretha married Vitus Diedrich about 1857 and by 1860 they were living in Wakefield Township in Stearns County.
Vitus and Margaretha had 6 known children: Margaretha b. 1859, Philipp (1860-1891), Maria b. 1861, Margaretha b. 1865, George (1868-1947), and Jacob b. 1869
Vitus died Oct 8 1870
Margaretha then married George Kraus/Krause Jan 7, 1871 and they moved to Benton County.
She and George had 5 children: Anton, Anna, Peter, John and Joseph
