Daniel D. Harmon finished his race on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Daniel D. Harmon Born in Logan, Kan., on June 21, 1935. He was a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division and served in Korea with the 508 Airborne Regimental Combat Team. He retired from the CF&I Steel Mill with 30 years of service and School District 60 with 15 years of service. Survived by his wife, JoAnn; daughter, Dana Jo (Randy) Clark of McPherson, Kan.; son-in-law, Greg Doll of Goodland, Kan.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Iva Lee (Gerald) Putnam. Dan was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Doll; and parents, the Rev. Preston and Venice Harmon. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014, First Church of the Nazarene, 84 Stanford Ave. Micah 6:8, "...and what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Dan's life reflected II Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
