Rev. Henry A. Rowland, born at Providence, R. I., 13 Jan. 1764, -- Grad. at Dartmouth Coll., --was ordained over the first Church and Society of this Town 5 May 1790, --died 28 Nov. 1835, aged 75, and for 46 years Pastor of the Church.

He was the son of David & Mary (Spalding) Rowland; he married Elizabeth Newbury 25 March 1795 in Windsor, CT.
