Aaron “Tony” Karnes was born on July 30, 1981 in Chattanooga, TN and went to be with his Lord on Friday, February 28, 2020, at his home in Graysville, TN at age 38.

Tony loved nature and all of God’s creatures, most of all his family and caring for his cat Blue. He was a supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and never ever thought twice about helping someone in need. Tony graduated from Chattanooga State Community College with an associate of science degree. He was employed in his family’s business.

Survivors include his parents, Tony and Kathy (Langston) Karnes of Graysville, TN; his sister, Angela Karnes of Hixson, TN; grandparents, Allen and Meda Langston of Graysville, TN; grandmother, Clara Wells of Columbia, TN; uncle, Randy Langston of Graysville, TN; aunt, Sandra Lower of Murfreesboro, TN; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Violet Wilson; great-grandmother, Trennie Sims; and uncle Chuck Karnes.

No parent has ever been as lucky or blessed to have a son like Tony. Although we are separated now for a while, we will be reunited someday in Heaven, forever with him. Tony will never see another cloudy day. “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither the light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light; and they shall reign forever and ever”. (Revelation 22:5)
