Geneva Kunze Cave, 87, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2002 in a Kingsville Healthcare Center following a long illness. She was born in Eddy Falls County, Texas on August 30, 1915 to Charles and Willie McCain and had resided in the Sinton area since 1945.
She married Carl Herman Kunze, Jr. on July 15, 1935 and had a son, Herman E. Kunze and a daughter, Ruth Marie Kunze. Her husband, Carl Herman Kunze, Jr. preceded her in death on December 11, 1951. She married Cecil Cave on October 25, 1953 and had one son, Charles Cave.
Her husband Cecil Cave preceded her in death on January 9, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Ben, C.B., Tom and Weldon, four sisters, Rosa, Marie, Zadie and Wiona.
Geneva had been employed for many years by H.E.B., Foodcraft, Piggly Wiggly grocery stores and the Bargain Corner in Sinton.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 26, 2002, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 26, 2002 at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sinton Cemetery in Sinton.
