Mrs. Ella Jane Cowan, 88, of Owens Cross Roads, died Wednesday at the Whitesburg Manor Nursing Home.
The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.
Mrs. Cowan, a native of Lawrence County, was a member of Huntsville Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Duke I. Cowan; two sons, Walter C. Roden of Huntsville and James E. Cowan of Owens Cross Roads; two daughters, Mary Jo Byrd and Linda Howell, both of Owens Cross Roads; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Ella Jane was the second wife of Duke Cowan. They were married July 4, 1940.
