"FRANKLIN, Charles Benjamin - Age 91, of Birmingham passed away Sunday the 9th of February in Midland. Mr. Franklin was born on March 5, 1905, the son of Levi and Jane (Shaw) Franklin in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. He married Rose Marie Hill on March 13, 1937 in Flint. He was a retired Fire Marshall from Chrysler. He is survived by one daughter, Karen (Thomas) Mosher of Sterling Heights; two sons, Dennis (Janet) Franklin of Midland and Donald (Louise) Franklin of Lapeer; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10th from 10AM-9PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 11th, at 11AM at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester with Rev. Whitfield of Grace Baptist Church in Birmingham and Fr. Fred Schwieholfer of St. Rene's in Sterling Heights officiating. Burial will follow immediately. Funeral arrangements were made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont."
