THOMPSON. Ray L., age 78, of 519 Hodapp Av., passed away Monday St. Elizabeth hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola, September 15, 1967. He is survived by 1 daughter. Mrs. Harley ( Lucille ) Riber Jr., Newark, O.,: 1 son, James L. Thompson of Beavercrcek; 5 granddaughters 1 sister, Mrs. Kenneth Tracy of Dayton.
He was employed 30 years at the Ohio Stove Foundry, Portsmouth, 0., and retired In 1961 from the Advance Foundry after 18 years. He was a former member of the First EUB Church of Portsmouth and attended the Parkview Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services 1 p.m. Thursday from the Tobias Fuhera Home, 648 Watervliot Av., Rev. Carl Ingersol officiating. Interment Hitler Cemetery, Circlevllle, 0. Friends may call at the funeral home, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
