He was the son of Shirley and Marlys Mead, born on October 13, 1966, he grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Hoover High School in 1985.
Tim loved cooking and shared the results of his skills with family and friends. He especially enjoyed making yummy desserts for his family, as well as the neighbors, and some would say that his pizzas were better than any restaurant.
Tim loved making music (of the ‘80s heavy metal variety), mostly playing the guitar but also dabbling with other instruments when he had a chance.
His death has left a void in the hearts and lives of his loved ones.
Tim is survived by his partner Tracey Fultz and her children, Rebecca, Aaron, Anna, Audrey, and Amanda, his sisters Michele Mead (Cynthia Williams) and Sherri (David) Hunt, nephew Jason (Mikayla) Hunt, niece Abbie Hunt, aunts Pat Mead and Grace (Marlin) Mead-Rickman, two great nephews, cousins across the country and beloved pets Gracie and Suzy.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no public service but a private family interment at a later date.
Tim was a big softie when it came to his pets, so for those who would like to do something in his memory, contributions can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
