Mrs. Vivian Gleason, 19, of Vicksburg, was laid to rest in Macedonia cemetery yesterday morning. Mrs. Gleason succumbed at a Vicksburg hospital Monday morning, following an illness of several days, caused from burns sustained while she was trying to light a wood stove at her home.
Mrs. Gleason is survived by her husband, Ethel Gleason; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Brooks, of D'Lo; five sisters and four brothers, Ellane, Nannie, Ollie Rhea, Laura Nell, Mary, Boone, Cletus, E. J., and Bernlce, of D'Lo.
Funeral services were conducted by the Revs. J. P. Williams and C. C. Jones, of this place.
