Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Bruce Allen Clark, age 76 of Belvidere. Mr. Clark passed from this life on Friday, April 10, 2020 at STRHS in Winchester. He was born on May 13, 1943 in Harvey, Illinois to the late Floyd and Lillian Workman Clark. He was of the Baptist faith and during his lifetime worked as a butcher. He was a 32nd degree mason. His family describes him as being a loving father, a good cook, humble, kind, and simple man that always had a kind word to say about everyone. He loved to travel, especially around his favorite holiday, Good Friday and traveling to Vegas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mettie LouJean Clark; sister, Madge Baumgartner; two sister-in-law’s, Elaine Janey and Mary Petty; brother, Bub Clark; brother-in-law’s, Ted Ashley and James Ashley. He is survived by his two sons, Allen Clark of Belvidere and Bruce Daniel of Whiting, IN.; daughter, Kimberly (Stephen) Krause of Crown Point, IN.; two sister-in-law’s, Doris Gill of Tullahoma and Sue Nagl of Nashville; granddaughter, Mettie Annleigh Clark of Elora; brother, Jim Clark of Wisconsin; two brother-in-laws, Gary Ashley of Winchester and Dan Ashley of Atlanta, GA.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
