Injuries From Fall Fatal To Mrs. Albin. Saffordville Woman Fell From Car Last Wednesday And Died Friday in Emporia. Injuries from a fall from a moving automobile on Wednesday of last week proved fatal Friday to Mrs. Clarence Albin of Saffordville. She died at 11:50 o'clock Friday morning in the Newman Memorial Hospital in Emporia. The accident which caused Mrs. Albin's death occurred on the road between Americus and Dunlap. She and Mr. Albin were the only ones in the car. He was driving and she was in the back seat alone. The car was traveling about 30 miles an hour, according to Mr. Albin, when he heard a commotion in the back seat and turned to see his wife falling from the car. She was taken to the Emporia hospital immediately after receiving first aid treatment in Americus.

Mrs. Albin was the former Christia Walthall. She was born December 25, 1895, at Olpe and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David B. Walthall. She was married on December 2, 1912, to Clarence E. Albin at Council Grove. She was a member of the Friends church.

Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Alva Smith, Matfield Green; Mrs. Helen Richardson, Strong City, and Miss Jeanne Albin of the home; two sons, Wayne Edwin Albin, Burlington, and Junior Albin of the home; one sister, Helen E. Walthall, Wichita. Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Roberts-Blue chapel in Emporia, and burial was in the Toledo cemetery. Rev. George Bond of Matfield Green conducted the services. Mrs. B. Sheridan and Mrs. Verle Davis sang. Pallbearers were George Lambert, John Moore, Albert Cooke, Luther Rhodes, David Taylor and Pearl Kerr.
