Bill was a native of Pennsylvania and a man of many professions, too lengthy to list here. He was a veteran of the US Army in the later 1950's and received an Honorable Discharge.
Bill was a generous being and was an ardent supporter of the Village of English School, Basedth District, Cambodia. He visited the school in 2017 and was the "Hit of the Party". The school is located in an impoverished province and the rural kids had never seen anyone quite like Bill. His white hair, round countenance and infectious laugh made him many small friends on that trip.
Bill spent many years touring SE Asia and has many "Friends of Bill W., in his beloved Thailand.
