Louisa F. Kellems, 78, 1189 Mill Street, died in Eugene, Dec. 22. She was born in Missouri, Oct. 25, 1871, and lived in Eugene the past 67 years.
Surviving are her children, Dr. Jesse Randolph Kellems, Los Angeles; Lt. Col. Homer Kellems, U.S. A. F. in Japan; Miss Vivien Kellems, Mystic, Conn.; Edgar Kellems, Pasadena, Ca.; and David L. Kellems, Mystic, Conn.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be at First Christian Church Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Ross Griffith, President of Northwest Christian College, officiating. Interment will be at Inglewood Park Cemetery , Inglewood Cal., Simon Lounsbury Mortuary will have charge.
**She is listed as Amanda Lulu in the 1880 census but the birth certificate for her son, David Loyal Kellems which lists her name as Louisa Amanda Kellems. Name may be Amanda Louisa or Louisa Amanda, not totally sure.**
