Eileen Brown, 91, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Kankakee, died Tuesday (July 31, 2007) in Tamms, Ill. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at French Mortuary, Albuquerque. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Risen Savior Catholic Community, Albuquerque.
Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
She was born in Michigan City, Ind., the daughter of Starr Leroy and Gladys Burnett Gephardt. Her husband, Gene L. Brown, whom she married in Kankakee, is deceased. She was a member of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are her children, Zephyre (Skip) Martin of Golconda, Tex (Sue) Martin of Tamms, Frank (Linda) Martin, Lyle (Gay) Brown, both of Albuquerque, Bob (Mary) Martin of Anna, Rosealie (James) Kimberlin, Carol Stamp, Joallen Meyers of Tamms, Sandy (Paul) Eddings of Ullin, Betty Ann Gephart of Michigan, Loris Daily of New Mexico, Jim Brown, Dale Brown of Virginia; 71 grandchildren and 83 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are one son, Derward Martin; and one daughter, Loraine Dagna.
