Charles E. Drake Sr., age 85, of Warrior, Alabama passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2020. Charles was born March 6, 1935. Charles was preceded in death by his wives Lucille Cole Drake, Marie Oddo Drake, and his son Charles E. Drake Jr. He leaves behind his loving wife Sarah Drake and his children Janice (Joe) Young, Dennis (Andrea) Drake. His step-children include Mary Rose (Larry) Dearman, Jackie Chirella, Glenn (Tina) Hicks, Kim Crawford, Sherry Hannah. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tamisha Kuhs, Allen (Jennifer)Young, Chris (Amy) Drake, Mandy Drake, and Eight Great-Grandchildren. Charles was a avid fisherman and enjoyed the game of golf as well. His true passion was pulling for the Alabama Crimson Tide in all sports and could be seen on most days wearing the Crimson Tide colors. He was an active member of Glenwood Baptist Church in Morris, Al. and was retired from Barber's Dairies Co. with several years of a service. The gentleman honored to be his pallbearers will be Allen Young, Joe Young, Eli Hannah, Glenn Hicks, Chris Drake, Randy Cornelius.
The Drake family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire staff at Encompass Hospice for their love and compassionate care during their time of need, it is truly appreciated.
Mr. Charles E. Drake Sr. will be laid to rest at Glenwood Baptist Church cemetery following a private graveside service.
