A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Jess B. and Gladys Garland Clark. Mr. Clark was retired from FWM
Mechanical Company. He was a member of Woodby Hill Free Will Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Nidiffer Clark, Jan. 30, 2006; and by two brothers, Newton (Bud)
and Danna Clark. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Bill Anderson, Elizabethton, and Kimberly
and Chad Cooper, Unicoi; four sisters and brothers-inlaw, Tam and F.D. Birchfield, and Judy and James Perdue,
all of Unicoi, Rebecca and Paris Street, Hampton, and Geraldine and Richard Lacy, Roan Mountain; his sister-inlaw,
Virgie Clark, Hampton; his grandchildren, Alyson Church, Maranda Anderson, Madelyn Church, Seth Anderson and Samantha Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.
Military honors will be provided by the V.F.W. Post 2166 and the Tennessee National Guard.
