Lois Emma Justice, the matriarch of the Justice family, peacefully passed from earth to heaven on April 13, and we KNOW there has been a celebration there to which nothing on this earth can compare! She was beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who loved each of us and was so very loved in return. In the joy of her presence one experienced her wit, her humor, her thirst for knowledge, her art of conversation, and her love of gardening, quilting, and cooking, but what best describes Lois is her servant’s heart and the devoted care she gave to her husband Joe. It's amazing to think that ALL of us have loved and cherished her over ALL the years of our lives! We are now left behind and will miss that special love that Lois showered on all of us in so many ways. She gave away almost all of the quilts! She was especially proud of the legacy she would leave behind in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We who have experienced the treasure that she was will surely grieve for the loss of her in our lives, but we will just as surely experience the JOY of the life we shared with her in every memory. She is survived by her three children, Ray, Mary, and Charlie, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grand child.

Graveside Service will be held on April 24, 2020 from 2 pm - 2:30 pm at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208.
