Ms. Josephine F. “Josie” Kilroy, 63, of Marblehead, formerly of Lynn and Nahant, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.
Josie, beloved daughter of the late John J. and Kathleen T. (Halloran) Kilroy, was born and raised in Lynn. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School, where she was Captain of the swim team, North Shore Community College and she attended Salem State University. She was active in several community organizations, including a volunteer for the United Way, and the local food pantry. Josie was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church where she sang in the Church Choir for ten years.
