He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa R (Viera) Andrews. Mr. Andrews was born in Lawrence, Mass., on Jan. 21, 1925, the son of the late Manuel and May Andrews. He had worked at Electric Boat in Groton for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Turano, and her husband, Charlie; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Carmela Turano, all of Westerly. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary DiRobbio and Edith Thibeault, and several nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by his brother, Arthur Andrews, of New York; and his sisters, Pauline Moreau, Gertrude Kelly and Eleanor Herman.
Calling hours will be held Monday April 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mystic Funeral Home, Route 1, Mystic. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
