Wilhelmina's obituary reads: "Funeral services were held Friday in the Resurrection Catholic Church, Eveleth, for Mrs. Theodore (Wilhelmia or "Minnie") Peterson, 72, who died Feb. 24 at the Essling Apartments, Eveleth. Rev. Timothy Costello officiated, and burial was in Oakland Cemetery, Little Falls. Mrs. Peterson was born April 3, 1896. She had lived for many years in Eveleth, where her husband had been an instructor in the school system prior to his death in 1945..." (Little Falls Daily Transcript, March 3, 1969)
