William Troby, 77, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 1986, at Bethany Medical Center. He was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, and had lived in Greater Kansas City most of his life. Before retiring in 1974, Mr. Troby was a carryall driver for the Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Workers Union and the Union Pacific Oldtimer's Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Miller, of Kansas City, Kan.; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services were held from the 18th Street Butler Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
