Born in Wichita Falls, TX. Moved to Fort Worth after the 4th Grade. Graduated from RL Paschal HS in 1977. Went to SFA, graduated in 1981 with a BBA in Mgt and Mkt.
Went to work for Lindsey & Newsom in 1982. Worked for Allstate from 1986 to 1997. Worked for the Texas Dept Of Human Services from 1997 to 2001.
Forced to retire in 2001 due to the progression of an inherited Neuromuscular Disease.
Got married in 1982 to Mary Ann McLane. Had a son, Frank in 1989 and a daughter, Elizabeth in 1992.

Enjoyed Fly Fishing for Bass And Sunfish and Hunting, primarily for Whitetail Deer. Also got a Turkey Gobbler, a Boar Hog and an Aoudad Ram.
