Born May 12, 1908 in Bari, Italy, son of the late Guiseppe and Maria Rose Aulenti and had been a resident of Westport for seventy years. He was employed by and retired from Railway Express. Mr. Aulenti was also sworn in as a Special Police Officer for the Town of Westport Police Dept. where he worked for more than 20 years before retiring in 1980. John was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the former Saint Anthony Society in Saugatuck, loved gardening and spending time with his family.
