Funeral services for Claude J. Jennings Sr., 74, of 912 5th Place West, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, Miss. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Amory. Johns-Ridout’s Southside Chapel is handling local arrangements.
Mr. Jennings died Wednesday evening at a local hospital.
A retired engineer with Frisco Railroad Co., Mr. Jennings had lived in Birmingham for 11 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Tubb of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Robert L. Landis of Los Altos Hills, Calif., and Mrs. W.W. Millsaps of Columbus, Ga.; two sons, Claude J. Jennings Jr. of Double Springs and Joseph C. Jennings of Florence, S.C.; two brothers, Tom L. and Martin A.
