Ivan Smith, 60, of 2018 W 52d st., a flagman for the Chicago transit authority, was killed last night when he fell in front of a Loop-bound elevated train at 63d street and Dorchester avenue. Smith, who was off duty, reportedly was running for the train when he stumbled and fell into its path.
