Elda E. Redding, 64, a real estate dealer here, died at 11:45 a.m. yesterday in St Joseph's hospital after an extended illness. His residence was a 2920 Broadway.
Born in Lafayette Township, he lived there and in Roanoke for about 45 years. He moved to Fort Wayne about 12 years ago. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are the widow, Marie, and three brothers, Lawrence, Grover and Charles, Roanoke.
The body was taken to the Getz & Elkenberry Southside Chapel,where friends may call from 1 p.m. today until 4 p.m. Friday. The body will then be taken to the Lynch Mortuary, Roanoke, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the mortuary at Roanoke, the Rev. Russell E. Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the Roanoke IOOF Cemetery.
