Married Marilyn A. Lark on July 5, 1968.∼LARRY BENEDICT FLEIS, 67 of Grawn, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2014. Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 28, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a sharing time beginning at 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 29, at The St. Mary’s of Hannah Catholic Church in Hannah with a visitation held from 10-11 a.m. A complete obituary will follow in a later edition of the Record-Eagle.∼Larry,a farm boy from Kingsley,became a policeman with integrity and honesty for 29 years, and owner of Lark's Lawn and Garden, married his girlfriend after a whirlwind courtship. His mother had died several weeks prior to the wedding.
He served as a Blair Twp Trustee and Grand Traverse County Commissioner. He is survived by his wife,four children and about eight grandchildren two brothers and one sister after the passing of his sister Jackie.
