A funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, in Portland Memorial Funeral Home for David Homan Dodge, who died Sept. 10 at age 84. Mr. Dodge was born Sept. 10, 1914, in Central, Ariz. He was a fire control officer for the U.S. Forestry Department. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gresham. In 1933, he married Melva Boren.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Ted of Lakeview and Paul of Estacada; daughter, Dorothy of Sequim, Wash.; sisters, Rothe Young of Gresham and Zelma Thomas of Gervais; brothers, Mel of Warren, Texas, Quinton of Woodburn and Bruce of Sherwood; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Entombment will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
