Margaret Emma Smith, 85, formerly of Whitehall and Allentown, died February 16, 2014 in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. "Bunch" Smith. Margaret was a seamstress at the former Fancy Pants on Front St. in Allentown, retiring in 1984. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Emma (Schrampf) Wirth. She was a former member of St. Peters German Lutheran Church, Allentown. Survivors: Son, Kenneth A. Smith, Jr. and his fiancee, Rebecca Lynn, of Pine Grove, PA; daughter, Karen, wife of Thomas J. Verholy, of Alburtis, PA; brothers, Robert Wirth and his wife, June, of Allentown and Rudolph Wirth of Whitehall; grandchildren, Megan Jo Verholy, Erik Verholy, and Jennifer Pollitt-Meckes. She was preceded in death by brothers, Edward Wirth and Alfred Wirth. Services: Funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 2 p.m., at the J. S.
